The founder story
Giving back to the game through player development.
Baseball has given me so much. I spent 13 seasons playing professionally, including parts of eight seasons in the major leagues. After my playing career, I moved into coaching and player development, working as a major league catching coach and managing at the Triple-A level with Tacoma, Toledo, and Norfolk.
Those experiences reinforced something I believe strongly: development matters at every level. And a player’s foundation is often built long before professional baseball — at a local field, with a parent putting in extra time or a volunteer coach trying to help a team get better.
That grassroots level is where I want UniteHQ to make a real difference. I want volunteer coaches and parents to have access to useful resources, clear drills, real feedback, and development plans they can actually put into practice. Whether a player is just learning the game or working toward the next level, the people helping them should have the tools to do it well.
UniteHQ connects families with coaches and gives coaches one place to share their knowledge, review video, assign drills, and guide a player’s progress. The technology is there to support the relationship — not replace the coach.
This is my way of giving back to the game that has given me so much, and helping more players get the development they deserve.
